We've just opened a Czech–Korean Nuclear Collaboration Center at the Czech Technical University in Prague with KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School
What's hidden inside the Nuclear Collaboration Center (NCC)?
It's a space where professors, researchers, and students from Korea will have professional facilities through the NCC for preparing work and lectures during their stay here.
“Nuclear research and education in Korea are at a top level, so the transfer of knowledge from our Korean partners is enormously valuable for us. By opening the center, we will help not only in sharing information, but also in the exchange of students and staff,” adds Dr. Jan Rataj, Head of the Department of Nuclear Reactors at FNSPE CTU.
Together with our Korean partners, we presented the goals and possibilities of the NCC and the overall Czech–Korean collaboration in the nuclear field.
Representatives of CTU and KINGS also signed an addendum to the memorandum of cooperation between the two universities, expanding the number of student and staff exchanges and formally defining the functions and competencies of the NCC.
We look forward to future cooperation!
