NCC Opening Ceremony

The Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University (FNSPE CTU) had hosted the official opening of the Nuclear Collaboration Center (NCC) established together with the KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS).
The NCC strives to deliver educational courses not only to students but also to the workers in the technical field and the public and is currently operating also at the Brno University of Technology and the University of Warsaw. Among its goals is also the support of joint research and the nuclear industry.

Visiting Lecture Series

From April 29 to 30, 2025, another set of lectures was delivered at the Brno University of Technology (BUT) by the KINGS distinguished professor Keung-Koo Kim.

This time the lectures were focused on SMR (its itroduction and global development, incluiding the development in Korea).

The topic, much relevant for the future, attracted not only many young students but also other experts from the nuclear field who were presenting their company booth during a student fair.
