About Us
The Czech-Korean Nuclear Collaboration Center (NCC) is a support and coordination hub established to strenghten academic and institutional collaboration.
By enhancing education at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering at CTU and at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication at BUT, the NCC plays an active role in preparing globally connected professionals in nuclear science for the future. It promotes study and research opportunities in Korea, assists Czech students preparing for academic exchange, and provides professional support for visiting Korean scientists and experts.
Through academic events, lectures, and long-term teaching programs, the centre fosters meaningful bilateral initiatives and contributes to the integration of Korean expertise into domestic nuclear education.

We aim to build a robust foundation for the education and training of future nuclear power professionals. We also aim to enhance students’ understanding of key issues and challenges in nuclear energy. We serve as a regional hub for nuclear manpower development and support international events (such as the Nuclear Days Conference at the University of West Bohemia in the Czech Republic), training programs, and collaborations for Korean nuclear organizations.
The Mission of NCC
The Department of NPP Engineering offers a comprehensive graduate-level program that encompasses all aspects of a nuclear power plant project, starting from the design and construction phase, and continuing through the operation, management, and ultimately the decommissioning phase. The program provides students with both theoretical and practical training, equipping them with the necessary skills to lead nuclear power plant projects in their respective countries.
